This is a 15-day cinematography workshop, instructed by the esteemed industry Professional DOP Rajendra Sapkota. The price for the course amounts to 21,000. The class will start once a group is assembled ( probably the 2nd week of Shrawn, 7:00 am to 8:30 am) and you will be informed. The workshop is hosted at The WOW Moment studio in Koteshwor. 


The workshop is structured into three parts. The first section consists of a 7-day theory & practical session, followed by a 7-day practical ( indoor / outdoor) class, and then 5 days dedicated to project work. The final day is reserved for project review and certificate distribution.


During the workshop participants will gain knowledge and practical experience in Exposure control, Lighting techniques, Lens selection, Cinematic Shots, composition, Camera Movement, Camera Angle manipulation, Perspective understanding, Mise-en-scène arrangement, Blocking techniques, Shot Filmmaking process, Commercial Shooting Observation, Motion & Emotion portrayal, Dramatic Lighting effects, Project Work development and many more.

  • ND Filter, Various Effect Filter, Polarising Filter, Dramatic Lighting Technique (Visual Metaphor), Indoor outdoor lighting
  • Depth of field and factor related to DOF
  • Camera Angle: High Angle, Low Angle, Eye Level, Dutch Angle, Bird Eye View
  • Shot Size (Rule of three ) L/S, M/S, MLS, CU, CS, MCU, ECU, BCU
  • Camera Movement (Writing with motion):- Panning , Telting Up & Down, Zooming, Swisspan, Tracking, Trolley, Steady Cam Dolly, Handheld

ABOUT INSTRUCTOR

Rajendra Sapkota graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Motion Picture Photography from Oscar College of Film Studies in 2010. He began his career as an Assistant Cinematographer in the industry for 7 years, working on projects such as "K YO Maya Ho," "Nobember Rain," "Mero Love Story," TV Commercial Ad films, and Cinematography in movies like "Bindas 1," "Bindas 2," and "2.0 Chaddke."


He also served as an Instructor and Head of the Cinematography Department at Purvanchal Institute of Film & Television in Itahari, as well as at Nirvan Film School in Chitwan. Additionally, he worked as a Trainer for the filmmaking and cinematography department.
